BringCom, Inc., has been awarded a new multi-year
contract by an international carrier for a U.S.
Government circuit. The award, valued at $7.324 million,
calls for BringCom to provide fiber optic circuit
services to U.S. Government agencies operating in
Africa.
The fiber optic circuit contract utilizes BringCom’s facilities in Djibouti City, Republic of Djibouti and its Network Operating Center (NOC) in Sterling, Virginia, USA. BringCom will provide managed fiber optic connectivity from Africa to the customer-designated termination point under the contract.
“This new contract reinforces BringCom’s position as the reliable provider of carrier-grade fiber optic services to U.S. Government prime contractors and international customers operating in the African and Middle Eastern global telecommunications markets,” said Fabrice Langreney, President and CEO of BringCom. “BringCom’s strategy and investment in these regions has resulted in over $25 million of multi-year fiber optic and satellite services contracts from international carriers and companies. They are also a reflection BringCom’s ever-increasing ability to service the needs of customers with very challenging telecommunication applications.”
The contract utilizes BringCom’s extensive local partnerships in the Africa and Middle Eastern regions. They include connectivity, construction of in-country facilities and continuing maintenance activities by BringCom’s satellite and fiber network-capable Network Operations Centers (NOC) in both the United States and Djibouti.
