Comtech Receives $2.9 Million Order for X-Band Solid-State Amplifiers from U.S. Government Prime Contractor

Comtech Xicom Technology Inc., has received an order for $2.9 million for its popular XTS-40X-B1 outdoor solid-state power amplifier (SSPA). The XTS-40X-B1 features high output power in a compact package, enabling higher data-rate uplinks for rugged, compact, transportable, military SATCOM terminals.

Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, “The XTS-40X-B1 is targeted at government SATCOM users who build very compact and cost effective transportable systems. We think this is a tremendous product that sets the bar very high in the MILSATCOM marketplace.”
