U.S. Space Awarded Contract for Architecture Study

U.S. Space LLC has been awarded a $291,159.00 contract by the United States Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center, Military Satellite Communications Systems Directorate to study feasible acquisition alternatives to satisfy MILSATCOM needs.
U.S. Space will review commercial and other alternative approaches to the existing military satellite acquisition model and recommend alterations that will enable faster, more cost-effective, and more efficient solutions to meet U.S. Government needs.
Major General, USAF (Ret.) Craig P. Weston, CEO of U.S. Space LLC, said "We look forward to working together with our U.S. Air Force partners to engage in a focused dialogue on how industry can better support their needs, and how alterations to the acquisition and policy guidelines will enable them to harness the capabilities of commercial space providers, to include U.S. Space and our enterprise partners."
