C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. has received orders in excess of $1,000,000 from resellers in Argentina and Russia.

The Argentinean order was placed by Telespazio Argentina S.A., based in Buenos Aires, while the Russian orders came from multiple resellers in the region.

The iNetVu® vehicle mount antenna systems will be used by Telespazio Argentina on an important project for the Argentinean Ministry of the Interior and for the Municipal Government of the City of Buenos Aires. Telespazio will be delivering a complete turnkey solution including installation, support and satellite connectivity to these government customers.

"This is the largest single order the company has received to date from Argentina for its iNetVu® products. The iNetVu® antenna systems are becoming the number one choice for mobile satellite applications throughout South America. We are very pleased to be associated with such an illustrious company as Telespazio Argentina, which has a commanding presence throughout the region," said Leslie Klein, President and CEO of C-COM.

"Telespazio Argentina is proud to be leading the market with innovative and cost-effective solutions for satellite broadband services. C-COM’s products give us the speed to market and a significant competitive advantage," declared Pablo Recalt, Marketing and Sales Director of Telespazio Argentina. Diego Pazos, Network & Connectivity Programs Director for Telespazio added: "We began to use C-COM’s products one year ago and the customer feedback from end-users of the iNetVu® antenna systems has been extremely positive."

The orders from Russia are also for iNetVu® vehicle mount antenna systems, which will be deployed across Russia and are destined for Oil and Gas customers, government agencies and private corporations.

"These orders represents a significant increase of iNetVu® sales to Russia. The Russian market is ideally suited for our products, which have proven to be extremely reliable and perform well even under the most adverse conditions in places like Siberia and North Asian Russia," said Leslie Klein.
