Argentine Satellite Provider Deploying SENCORE’s Receiver Decoder in Country’s Digital TV Efforts

SENCORE and its Argentine sales partner, VEC SRL, announced that AR-SAT, selected the SENCORE MRD3187B receiver decoder for satellite applications across the country. Evaluated along with competing devices in comprehensive testing, the MRD3187B distinguished itself for overall ease of use, signal quality, and robustness and showed superior performance, reliability, and functionality.
AR-SAT currently provides satellite reception for Argentina’s digital TV system and is responsible for delivering ISDB-Tb across the country. AR-SAT is relying on the MRD3187B receiver decoder to provide a key functionality in the video delivery chain at satellite re-transmission sites in numerous Argentine cities including Corrientes, Mendoza, San Juan, San Luis, Cordoba, Salta, and Jujuy.

AR-SAT was founded in 2006 to develop the satellite and terrestrial infrastructure for Argentina’s digital TV system and to promote satellite services for public and commercial applications and transmission. Today, AR-SAT delivers satellite bandwidth for voice, data, audio, and video services, and serves major broadcasters as well as business, government, and military organizations throughout Argentina.
