Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $1.0 Million in Satellite Uplink Hardware Orders From Direct-To-Home Service Provider

Comtech EF Data Corp., received $1.0 million in orders for satellite modulators and demodulators from a leading Direct-To-Home ("DTH") service provider. The equipment will be used to facilitate expansion of DTH services throughout the United States.
The orders specified the DM240XR Digital Video Broadcast Modulator, the DD240XR Digital Video Broadcast Demodulator and the RRS11 Solid State Transfer Switches. Designed to exceed the DVB, DVB-S2 and DVB-DSNG standards and provide superior Modulation Error Ratio performance, Comtech EF Data's modulators and demodulators can meet the growing needs of DTH providers. The products incorporate high capacity, programmable FPGA cores, allowing users to expand networks and minimize the impact of new technologies on service offerings. The modulators/demodulators also support an assortment of interface options for maximum platform flexibility.
