WEGENER Receives Order from Microspace to Expand Digital Signage Project

Wegener Corporation announced receipt of an order from Microspace to expand the deployment of WEGENER receive equipment for a retail client. Microspace uses WEGENER equipment to process video broadcasts sent via satellite to digital signage displays within the client’s stores across Europe to support and increase brand awareness with consumers. The new order will expand the deployment of receive equipment to the client’s locations within the United States

Using WEGENER’s Compel® network control system, Microspace is able to support multiple clients with a variety of receive options for digital signage, television, radio or data broadcast applications.

Initial orders were received and shipped during fourth quarter of WEGENER fiscal 2009 and throughout fiscal 2010. The new order was received during fourth quarter of WEGENER fiscal 2010.
