International Datacasting Corporation Rolls Out 3D Live Networks Around the World

International Datacasting Corporation, announced a series of new orders for its 3D live solution prompted by the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa(TM).

This year the event will be broadcast in 3D for the first time and demand is high for IDC's Superflex SFX4104 Pro Video with integrated Sensio 3D decoding for delivery into digital cinema enabled theatres. IDC is booking new orders from both current IDC 3D live networks as well as new customers around the world from Australia, Brazil, Mexico, and France.

The Superflex SFX4104 Pro Video receiver is the technology of choice for digital cinema networks internationally-ideal for both live events and delivery of DCP (Digital Cinema Initiative Package) files. This model includes 3D decoding technology from Sensio(TM) that allows for the streaming of both live and recorded content.
