Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Wins $3.4M Order for Ruggedized Amplifiers for WGS Satellite Applications

Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc., received a $3.4 million order for ruggedized, Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTAs) for the U.S. Navy. These amplifiers are to be fitted to existing antennas and will provide improved uplink access to Ka-band capacity provided by the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellites. The TWTAs have been designed to meet very stringent environmental specifications.
