ORBCOMM Announces AIS Agreement with Lloyd's List Intelligence

 

 

 

ORBCOMM Inc. has completed an agreement with Lloyd's List Intelligence (previously Lloyd's MIU) for Satellite AIS data services.

 

Lloyd's List Intelligence is a leading provider of information and global maritime intelligence. The addition of ORBCOMM satellite AIS information will extend coverage beyond coastal areas with the availability of open ocean vessel reporting. The agreement with Lloyd's List Intelligence includes a minimum annual license fee to ORBCOMM and grants immediate access to ORBCOMM's global satellite AIS offering.
