– Arabsat – participates in AFRICACOM Conference & Exhibition held
in Cape Town - South Africa during the period of 12-14 Nov. 2013.

& CEO of Arabsat, stated that "Our participation in AFRICACOM this
year comes after Arabsat active expanding ,as Our 5th
Generation Satellites , which have been launched lately, are
covering the entire African continent through which TV broadcast ,
telecommunications Internet services are provided, Arabsat
Satellites also broadcast TV bouquets , some broadcasted over
Maghreb countries and others broadcasted over the whole African
continent, in addition to the existence of several ground satellite
stations inside the African continent to contact European and Asian
satellite ground stations for Internet services and mobile
networking. Also , ARABSAT has signed the 6th generation satellites
contracts, which will provide extra massive satellite capacities
covering the whole African continent and its potential market
with full in Orbit–Back up,
“Arabsat will Also showcase
Badr-7 Satellite capabilities which was taken into account when
designed to be provided with the state – of –art broadcasting
technology that will inaugurate a new era in combining Satellite
broadcasting & telecommunications services. Badr-7 is expected to be
launched by the end of 2015 to cover the Middle East and central
Asia from Arabsat exclusive Hot Spot 26° degrees East.” He added.
Balkhyour concluded that “We
are currently working hard on several important strategic projects
to operate our orbital positions and keep up with the increasing
demand of our customers' needs, so that Arabsat will always remain
the best choice to provide all its customers’ needs in satellite
broadcasting & Telecommunication services.”
