Systems Wins U.S Peace Corps Follow-On
Contract to Deliver 24/7 Global
Satellite Communications
Oct. 20, 2026
Trace Systems Inc.
(Trace) has been awarded a fiveyear
follow-on to support the Peace Corps.
This award strengthens Trace's ongoing
support for the Peace Corps by
delivering reliable, uninterrupted voice
and messaging services, ensuring
emergency connectivity across 60
overseas posts. Satellite communications
remain essential for the agency due to
the remote locations in which Peace
Corps personnel often operate, where
landline and cellular services are
unavailable. Trace will continue to
provide highly dependable satellite
voice communications that enable Peace
Corps posts to maintain continuous
contact with Headquarters during
emergencies and crises events.
Under this new task
order, Trace will deliver and sustain
comprehensive satellite communications
services, including provisioning and
maintaining 24/7/365 mobile voice
connectivity, two-way text messaging,
voicemail, global roaming, and technical
support for satellite phones currently
deployed worldwide. Trace will also
ensure seamless service continuity with
zero downtime, support integration with
existing Peace Corps phone numbers,
enable coverage of new geographies as
the agency expands operations, and
provide training, customer support, and
warranty services. This award reinforces
Trace's expertise in delivering
resilient communications solutions in
austere environments and sustaining
emergency-ready infrastructure for
global missions.
"Peace Corps
personnel operate in some of the most
remote environments in the world, where
dependable communication isn't just
helpful, it's essential to safety,
coordination, and emergency response,"
said John Reilly, Vice President of
Growth Operations. "Trace Systems is
proud to continue supporting the Peace
Corps with resilient satellite services
that ensure secure, consistent
connectivity no matter the location or
circumstance."
