INNOSPACE Advances Canada Partnership with RSAT Space Inc. through Launch Services

INNOSPACE has signed a Distribution Agreement with RSAT Space Inc. (“RSAT”), a Canada-based space and defense technology company, to strengthen sales cooperation in the Canadian market for its small satellite launch services.

The agreement advances the partnership established under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by the two companies in April into a concrete phase of business execution. Under the MOU, the companies agreed to jointly pursue Canadian government and commercial projects and expand launch services. Through the new Distribution Agreement, they will move forward with customer acquisition and sales activities for launch services in Canada.

Under the agreement, RSAT will hold non-exclusive sales rights in Canada for launch services using INNOSPACE’s HANBIT series of small satellite launch vehicles: HANBIT-Nano, HANBIT-Micro, and HANBIT-Mini. RSAT will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, proposing launch services, conducting sales activities, and facilitating or concluding contracts as appropriate, with the aim of expanding customer reach in the North American market, with a focus on Canada.

RSAT is an end-to-end space and defense technology company with capabilities spanning satellite platform and payload development through satellite operations, providing integrated solutions tailored to customer mission requirements. Drawing on its experience in the development and manufacturing of satellite systems, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) electronics, secure communications payloads, and satellite buses for deep-space missions,

Kim Su-jong, CEO of INNOSPACE, said, "Since the memorandum of understanding in April, we have made our cooperation concrete through local launch service sales," and added, "We will expand our touchpoints with launch service customers in Canada by partnering with firms that have local business experience and customer networks."

“This agreement marks an important step in translating the partnership we established with RSAT through our MOU in April into commercial activity in Canada,” said Soojong Kim, Founder and CEO of INNOSPACE. “By combining RSAT’s strong market insight and established relationships with Canada’s growing demand across government and commercial space sectors, we aim to broaden access to our launch services and create new opportunities in the market.”
