Qorvo Simplifies Sub-1GHz RF Design with Wideband, High-Efficiency Power Amplifier

October 22, 2025

Qorvo introduced the QPA9510, a compact
RF power amplifier that delivers wideband coverage from 100 to 1000 MHz with
industry-leading efficiency. By replacing multiple discrete PAs with one device, the
QPA9510 reduces SKU count, simplifies board design and accelerates time to market for next-generation Sub-1GHz systems.

Demand for portable and long-range wireless communication is growing across diverse markets such as public safety radios, smart utility metering, RFID logistics and telematics. Designers face mounting pressure to support multiple regional bands, extend battery life and minimize form factors. The QPA9510 addresses these challenges with high efficiency, flat gain performance and a pin-compatible design that supports reuse across product families.

The QPA9510 delivers:
 +36 dBm output power and 34 dB gain for strong link budgets in space-
constrained systems.
 55 percent efficiency, enabling longer runtime in battery-powered radios and IoT
devices.
 Over 70 dB of on-chip analog gain control for simplified system calibration and
tuning.
 Compact 3x3 mm QFN package with efficient thermal performance for handheld
and embedded applications.

“With the QPA9510, we’re not just releasing another RF amplifier -- we’re solving a system-level problem for Sub-1GHz designers,” said Debbie Gibson, director of Qorvo's Wireless Infrastructure Business. “Customers can now cover more bands, extend device life and reduce board spins with a single, compact PA.”

When combined with Qorvo’s low-noise amplifiers (LNAs), digital step attenuators
(DSAs) and RF switches, the QPA9510 enables complete RF front-end solutions for
highly efficient transmit-and-receive chains in linear communication systems.
The QPA9510 and its evaluation board are available now in Qorvo's authorized
distribution network and on Qorvo.com.
