Hughes Do Brasil Appoints New Senior Director Of Operations, Engineering And Aftersales

Luís Rodolfo de Oliveira is the new Senior Director of Operations, Engineering and Aftersales at Hughes do Brasil, a subsidiary of Hughes Network Systems LLC (HUGHES). The executive takes over from Marcus Turchetti, who dedicated 24 years of his career to the company and retired leaving an invaluable legacy of leadership and significant contributions to the development of the organization.

With about 20 years of experience in the company, Luís Rodolfo has extensive knowledge in project management, field services and logistics, as well as important experience in the telecommunications market. He joined Hughes do Brasil in 2004 and has held key roles in the company, including Project Manager, Field Services Manager and Director of Logistics and Field Services. Prior to his journey at the company, he accumulated fourteen years of experience at VICOM, where he stood out in the implementation, support and management of telecommunications network solutions for the corporate market and operators.

With a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Paulista (UNIP), the executive also holds an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and a specialization in Operations, Products and Services Management from Fundação Vanzolini (USP). His extensive experience and industry knowledge make him the ideal choice to lead Operations and Engineering at Hughes do Brasil.

"Marcus was the 11th employee of Hughes do Brasil and played a crucial role in founding the company we know today. His legacy continues with the contribution of Luís Rodolfo's strategic vision, which curiously was hired by Marcus himself in 2004", comments Rafael Guimarães, president of Hughes do Brasil.
