Ovzon receives 14.6 MUSD
order from U.S. DOD for renewal of
SATCOM-as-a-Service
Ovzon has received, from their
partner Intelsat General Communications (IGC), a
contract renewal of Ovzon’s SATCOM-as-a-Service
solution for the United States Department of Defense
(U.S. DOD). The 12-month renewal, valued at 14.6
MUSD, will have a start date in mid-December 2021
and represents a full extension of Ovzon’s baseline
services through December 2022.
Ovzon’s SATCOM-as-a-Service to
the U.S. DOD has grown substantially throughout 2021
to include expanded global coverage and a
significant increase in the number of Ovzon T6
terminals. This renewal does not include other
product and service awards received by Ovzon from
the U.S. DOD during 2021. Ovzon’s ultra-small mobile
satellite terminals integrated with industry-leading
satellite network performance, provide an unmatched
level of strategic, operational and tactical agility
to the U.S. DOD and other users with critical
missions.
"We are honored to continue
delivering Ovzon’s SATCOM-as-a-Service to our U.S.
