Ovzon receives 1.92
MUSD order from U.S. DoD
Ovzon has received a direct
award from the U.S. DoD to provide 50 of the new,
ultra-small, Ovzon T6 mobile satellite terminals.
The order is valued at 1.92 MUSD and represents the
largest single order to date for the new Ovzon T6.
The U.S. DoD recently placed an
order for 50 Ovzon T6 mobile satellite terminals
based on its ultra-small form factor, light weight,
ease of use, and industry leading performance. The
Ovzon T6 offers unmatched mobility and performance
in any environment, and replaces much larger,
heavier, and less capable systems that unnecessarily
burden logistics systems and resources.
Ovzon T6s industry leading
capabilities make it ideal for supporting
operational teams while being fully capable of
providing the bandwidth to scale into a robust
headquarters on one single terminal, eliminating the
need for follow-on systems and additional crew.
Weighing less than 13 pounds, the Ovzon T6
can be placed into operation within less than a
minute and an untrained user can operate it for
hours on a common external battery.
“This significant order
represents an enterprise-level investment in the
Ovzon Satcom-as-a-Service by a customer with a very
demanding and important mission. We are humbled to
play an increasingly important role with this key
customer. The significance of this order is not lost
on us, and it reinforces our commitment to provide
products and services with unmatched performance,
resiliency and customer service and support", says
Per Norén, CEO of Ovzon.
